The amount of medicine that you take depends on the strength of the medicine. If your dose is different, do not change it unless your doctor tells you to do so. The dose of this medicine will be different for different patients. It is not safe to use more than 4 grams (4,000 milligrams) of acetaminophen in one day (24 hours).
